i'm looking to buy a honda hatchback and want to get the vx model because it seems to get by far the best gas mileage but how can I be sure its a vx and not anything else? Are all honda hatchbacks around those years vx? (if someone didn't switch out the engine) Thanks. Also, if a honda hatchback isn't a vx what kind of gas mileage would it get?

look at the engine

the engine code is D15Z1, that's the stock vx engine

the engine code is on the block next to the tranny

it should look like this

but with D15z1 instead of b16a
