which is best for the price, better, safest etc..basically overall which is better?















im 16 and its going to be my first car and it needs to be a reasonable price!















yeah and i think the civic is a bit cheaper and you can negotiate the price, and better financing and insurance :P

Honda Civic. it will last longer, which is all that matters in the end. Im not sure about the up front costs, but if you buy a car, the first payments arn't what kills you. its the repairs.

Honda is Better. Do not buy it new. Look for used one in a car dealer. Check Edmuns.com

The TC is a horrible investment. Its essentially made of plastic on the side and in the event of a crash, you will get injured. It was also Toyota's cheap way of replacing the Celica. They stopped that and put the TC in its place with a damn Camry engine that has no guts. As far as its aftermarket versatility, its nil. A TC engine will hold a TC engine. A Civic will hold all the Honda motors with a few exceptions like the NSX etc. The civic will get better gas, is safer, better on insurance and will do your more justice in the long run. Do you trust a car that's been made for decades of research behind it? Or do you trust a 4 year old plastic car that looks the same front and back?

The Civic. It's just a better all around buy in terms of reliability, safety, maintenance, MPG, performance, etc...































Melee_Monkey has it right, except all cars these days are essentially made out of plastic, not just the TC.































For the record, I was in a non-fault accident with a TC once. My little 95 Civic vs a new 2006 Scion TC, let's just say I drove home and watched the TC get towed away lol.
