Default should i get a honda civic sedan or coupe?

im 16 and it would probably be the 2010 model

the look of the coupe looks a little better but my family said i wouldnt be as happy with the 2 doors, i like the look of the sedan too and it might be more efficient but i dont know if i would really need more space?

also what color? blue, white, or dark grey

and what does the i-vtec do?

definitely get the 2 door. i had a 2 door civic and now have a 4 door integra nd i miss my 2 door. its more sporty, still has plenty of backroom. having extra people never bothered me because im always the driver, and the back passengers are fully comfortable. doors are heavy because the wiring, window motors, bigger glass window, and the 2 door is lighter because thats 2 less doors the car has to carry.so it saves you more gas and runs quicker. also looks waay better.

the only time you would really need the sedan is if you have a baby riding the car often then get the sedan.

also if you get the civic Si the spoiler looks way better on the coupe.

i-vtec is intelligence intake timing, variable valve timing with lift and electronic control. it helps your car get more air by lifting the valves electronically and activates at high RPM. so you can rev high and it will be completely healthy for the car. i recommend the Honda Civic Coupe.

EDIT: Carol r, there is a trunk to pack your stuff and if there is more people than just your passenger than its your passenger who lets people in your car not the driver. you're the driver so you are on the other side of the road, why would you move to let anybody in? i didn't.

I'm about to purchase a 2010 Honda next month and at first i wanted the coupe too because it was more "cool". I'm in college and it would suck having a 2 door because it would be harder to pack your stuff in the car for moving in and out. It's more convenient too. Yes, there may be space in the back and your friends may feel comfortable, but it will get annoying having to let them in first. The only 2 door i wouldn't mind getting is the accord coupe because that car has much more space then the civic coupe. Also, out of those three colors i would choose white it looks the nicest for the longest. My dad's 2002 white accord still looks brand new because it's harder to see scratches and stuff!

im 16 and have a accord coupe. i love it. i dont usually carry any1 with me or have a lot of stuff to drive around. so the 2 door works well for me.

but if ur gonna give some of ur buddies rides around and always have stuff in the trunk then get the sedan. i prefer the coupe beause its cooler and sportier and easier to park and blind spots are easier to check.

GET THE COUPE

It depends on how many people you are carrying. If you carry more that 2 OFTEN, get a sedan, if not, get a coupe. They are lighter, faster and in my opinion, look better.

i-vtec basically allows more air and fuel into the cylinders for a larger explosion and higher rpm's. meaning more power, by switching over to larger lobes on the cam.

I like the four door just because i often carry people around and it makes for quick and easy access for carrrying stuff.
