Default 1988 honda accord lxi hatch back shotrt shift 2.0 fi engine

i have a 1988 honda accord lxi hatch with a 2.0 12 valve engine i am having some problems with it i have to pinch the line from the fuel filter to the fuel injectors to get it to start cuz it is flooding out easily it is also idli9ng weird when im sitting still the battery keeps diing and i just got a new azlternator please somone help
