Default Please help...if you know Honda PLEASE READ?

i have a 1990 Honda Civic HB clean but heres the problem

when i turn the car on it runs good....idles just under one and no sputtering or anything however as soon as i hit the gas peddle the car like boggs down the intake makes a deep THWAAAAA noise and then the RPMs drop and i don't know whats wrong

what ive done to try and fix it.....

Ive changed fuel pump and filter

spark plugs and o-rings

timing and new distributor and rotor & cap

new and cleaned throttle body

took of injection manifold off and cleaned & lubed it

new manifold gasket

oil change wit synthetic oil and new filter

i dont kno what else to do please help

i alreade have new exchaust from the headers back

i would but seeing how it aint drivin it kinda hard and trust me ive had ppl that kno what there doing so how bout instead of pointing out the obvious u can put ur opinion in since you have done all this shit

lol i would say do a engine swap haha if u have the money maybe it is your exsaust headers or somthing

if youve wasted that much already an havent figured it out....dont you think its time to let someone who knows WHAT THEY ARE DOING fix it.

anything could cause that...your not being discriptive from a mechanics point of view...i cant physically hear it or see it or test your really not going to get an answer worth a shit.

edit......then take it to a shop......tow it

Check your vacuum lines, you might have a leak. Spray starter fluid around the lines while idling, you'll know if you find a leak or not. And if anything, clean the lines out with Seafoam while you're at it.

Tons of things that could do that, from a simply clogged air filter to a messed up ECU.

Automatic or Manual?

Can you rev it up in neutral or does it bog down even when not in gear? (Don't worry about this question if it's a M/T)

CEL present or no?

Have you compression tested all 4 cylinders?

Are you using the OEM intake and have you changed it's air filter?

Check if you have vacuum leaks. Check also your ignition coil coil, it could be malfunctioning. Hope this help!
