Default I have a 1998 Honda Civic and it's suped up. Why does everyone stare at me while I'm driving?

I bought the car like that and I am not a racer. And I am African American. Does race have anything to do with it?

Yes your in a classic quick car with loud exhaust I would imagine. Go to your local race track if your interested in running. Do not put yourself or innocent bystanders into harms way for racing or lead footing. Go to NHRA.COM to find all your track information in your country.Go to Summitracing.com or Jegs.com for all your high performance needs. Good Luck

No it's not because of your race. We live in America and most Americans are good people so I wouldn't worry about that. I would say it's because it's a sh*tty looking civic or has sh*tty mods but really all civics look ugly as hell to me and mostly teenagers drive them. Also it could be because of the fart can exhaust and all it does is sound annoying and people think that it makes their car go fast. When I bought my all stock clean 2000 Honda Prelude I remember there was this 1 dealership who had a prelude but it was all riced out with sh*tty mods and had a Boeing 747 wing on it with the wheels painted black and just looked sh*tty. If I got that car people would be starring at me too because it was f*cking ugly. So when you get a car get a clean all stock car and then people won't look at you but if it's a civic maybe they will because I hate civics and they are just sh*tty cars. Good luck!

You never know why are they staring at? Maybe your Honda is a an eye catcher. Dont mind people. They have different opinion on things. Just drive safely. Hope this help!
