Default will a 97 honda sunroof fit on a 94?

my husband asked me to look this up and i know nothing about cars... he wants to use the motor and bracket (everything but the glass itself) from a 97 honda civic coup on a 94 honda hatch. any thoughts?

yes, they're different. he's well aware. he's also used lots of part from the 97 and put them into the 94... we know the parts are different, but, like the other parts he's used, is there a safe way to make it work?
