Default honda del sol vs bmw m3 e36?

would a del sol with custom headers, cold air intake, a performance chip and short shifter beat a stock bmw m3? e36

It depends on the specific equipment- 'custom' is not particulary specific. I would still guess no.































That being said, the Honda is front-wheel-drive, and while you can technically boost the power to the point where it could beat the BMW in a strait line, that much power in a small FWD is downright dangerous.































There's a reason that EVERY race car that isn't limited by class is RWD. The BMW will still be the better performance car no matter what you do to the Honda.

hahahahah, well a del sol with all those mods is still only making 120hp, so unless that m3 is breaking down, its going to destroy the little honda

You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net

i would say no, hate to admit it but the m3 is a sports car and the del sol is a poor mans project. ..















if your lookin to buy, get m3. better performance.
