Default How much replacing an oil pan on a 91 Honda Accord cost?

I have a 91 Honda Accord station wagon. It has only 102,000 miles. Overall, it runs well. But, I think I need to replace the oil pan. How much do you think it should cost for parts and labor?

why do you think it needs to be replaced?

if nothing is leaking then you dont have to worry about it.

but if you want to do it anyway its going to be a about 1 hour worth of labor and a about 120 for the oil pan in a shop. but you can get the oil pan online for less than 60 and do it yourself.

The book time for labor is 2 hours. The total price for parts and labor at a shop is 250-500 depending on the experience and honesty of the shop doing the repairs and the quality of the parts being used. Good luck and hope this helps.

The factory Oil Pan gasket is rubber and gets baked hard and crispy causing cracks between the pan bolts. This starts seepage and drips.Seldom,if ever do oil pans "Go bad".An oil pan can be removed, cleaned, welded, painted and re-installed as good as new.The gasket can be bought out of your change jar,it's less than $20 and can be easily installed if the exhaust pipe doesn't need to be moved.
