Default 60mm or 2.5 exhaust, 60mm muffler on 2.5 catback?

I'm getting a motor swap soon and I need to have new exhaust set up for the car. I have a muffler for it but the inlet is 60mm, I would really rather just do 2.5 since I know I can get a marginal increase in power from it, and because the rest of my exhaust components are 2.5. If I do 2.5 piping all the way back and neck it down right at the end to fit on the muffler, should I just run 60mm? If I do that is it going to be too restrictive? Does anyone have any suggestions for a muffler for me that they know would be 2.5in in diameter? Maybe something like a Borla, I don't know. It's a 94 ex getting an H22A1, plan on doing a header with a 2.5 in collector, 2.5 in high flow catalytic converter, and I want to do a resonator as well (which I can also only find in 2.5). The difference between 60mm and 2.5 is like 2.36-2.5.

Unless there's something really special about that 60mm muffler, I'd do the 2.5" all the way. FlowMaster mufflers work good & sound very good.
