depends whats under the hood.... thats like saying who would win a lamborghini or a dodge charge 1969 naturally a lambo would beat all of these but if you modify the charger and get it over 700hp then we have a different story... well the same goes if you put twin turbo in a lambo but who can afford that lol.. i have seen customer celicas beat stock lambos but ive seen customer celicas destroyed by customer lambo's just depends how you modify it.. all in all think of it like this all cars can be modified to go faster now what it already has in it depends on how fast you can really make it go

The 2001 Honda Prelude would beat the sh*tty celica easily in a race whether they are both stock or both turboed. I have a 2000 Honda Prelude stock and they are great cars. It has 200hp stock, vtec engine, looks great, gets a lot of looks, great handling and pretty fast for a 4 cylinder car. The 2000 or 2001 Honda Prelude would beat any stock 4 cylinder car and has more power then all of them. It's a great car overall and they are very reliable. Also if you turbo the lude then you would beat any v6 stock and probably even some v8's. The Prelude is a great car and everybody who says any different is just jealous because they can't afford it and can't pay the high insurance for one. Oh actually a stock prelude will beat most all v6's with nor problem.

Edit: Actually the lude can go 0-60 in 6.8 sec while an S2000 can go 0-60 in 6.5 sec so check your stats and it would be a close race with these 2 cars but it really depends on the driver so you never know who will win. My money is on the lude and just because the lude is heavier doesn't mean you can't race it and doesn't mean they are not fast. Also the lude is heavier then a lot of 4 cylinder cars and can beat most of them stock to stock. It can beat any Civic because civics suck and have no power and are sh*tty cars to begin with and civics are way lighter then the lude. I'm just saying teenagers who think they are cool get the sh*tty civic and put a 747 Boeing wing on it and a fart can exhaust while the young adults get the 2000 or 2001 Honda Prelude because they are nicer and have more power and teens can't afford this car or the insurance. I plan on turboing my car and getting an Apexi N1 Catback exhaust for it also. My 2000 Honda Prelude is my first car that I purchased from the dealership when I was 19 and now I'm 21 and still have 3 years left to pay on it but I love it and can't wait until it's paid off.

Edit: Now if it was a 2001 Toyota Celica GTS vs a 2000 or 2001 Honda Prelude then the lude would win. 2001 lude 0-60 6.8 and 2001 celica gts 0-60 7.3 but the 2000 Toyota celica gts 0-60 is 6.6 sec so it would be a close race if it were these 2 cars. Also if you are talking about the 2003 Honda S2000 then it would be a close race because 2003 S2000 goes 0-60 in 6.3 sec but yes the 2000 Honda S2000 goes 0-60 in 5.5 sec so it would probably beat the lude stock to stock but you never know. check this site out

Assuming they are both stock It would be close, ludes are pretty heavy, I would say the Celica would win. Also, rko 88 I think that an S2000 is much faster than a lude (lighter and has same horsepower) S2000 0-60, 5.4 sec.....Lude 0-60, 7.5 sec.....Celica GTS 0-60, 7.2 sec

Edit: Yes stock Civics are slow in a drag but if you have rims and tires/and shocks (like I do) they handle like a dream in the turns and trust me a stock Civic engine is more than enough power coming down a mountain road. Also, I wasn't implying that because the lude is heavy it couldn't race, I simply meant that you can't compare horse power numbers and determine from that, this site (http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...prelude-1.htm) says 7.6 sec 0-60 for the lude and here is a fourm post about the same thing All and all It will mostly come down to driver skill. Also, I only mentioned the S2000 becasue you said the lude is the fastest NA 4 cyl car. The Integra Type R is also faster....
