Default swapping the motor questions?

i got a daily driver 1993 civic ex and i go about 160 miles everyday round trip for work ... problem is i have a OBD1 b16a2... the tranny sucks on the highway i sit at 4000 RPMs .. i think its to much for the motor to take doing that ever week day.... so i was thinkn of swaping a b18a LS (if im correct) has longer gears for daily driving.... so would the LS motor just bolt in without any rewiring mounts.?.. etc thanks .....

umm buddy, a motor doesnt control the gearing, the tranny rear..wait not the rear.. anyways all 4 bangers traveling 70 or more will sit at 3500 rpms or higher. only way to change that is to change the gear ratio.

and if its your daily driver i wouldnt be ****ing with it.

B16s are built to be high revving motors... It's designed to hve that 4k rpm for crusing. You can swap an ls or gsr tranny onto it for the longer gear ratios and lower highway RPMs.
