Question Is my Lude screwed??

alright..i have a 93 prelude, h22 non vtec, 5 speed and 100k miles...three weeks after purchase the timing belt snapped while driving...because i was late for school and had no idea what was wrong with the car, i continued to try to start the car..bad move i know and of course all the push rods were bent and something happened to the head...shelled out some money to have the pushrods replaced and the timing belt installed..also, the head was sent somewhere to be worked on...when i got the car back, it actually ran but with far less power...the explanation was that the whole distributor setup needed to be replaced which of course costs 300 dollars or something obscene...also, i'd like to note that the spark plugs and wires seem to come loose while driving at about 30 percent power..not sure what the deal is with that..car makes a whirring/ticking sound and someone said it could be lifters??..im basically asking if anyone has heard of any of this and is any of it fixable?? I do not feel like the car is in timing and maybe that has something to do with the plugs coming out??? someone give me something to go on because i am far too poor to take my car to a mechanic to find out that the motor is bad....any help or insight will be greatly appreciated
