Default Brakes Squeal on '06 Honda Civic?

My '06 Civic just went in to get it's 100,000 mile service last week and now every time I apply the brakes there is a squeal! The slower I'm going and the gentler I apply the brakes the louder it is. It sounds to me like it's coming from the passenger side of the car. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

If the brakes weren't checked at the service maybe the pads are nearly worn out and you need new brake pads, if the brakes were checked and new pads fitted maybe the fitter omitted to fit the anti-squeal shims. Get your brakes checked.
