Default honda gauge cluster replacement?

hey i have a 2003 Honda Civic. I wanted more girly colored dash lights. I was hoping for a pretty baby blue or my favorite would be a pretty lilac. Has anyone done that??

It's possible but it may be a lot of work. You may be able to remove the 'lenses' and put colored plastic covers on them. 8>)

its not that hard to do:

*disconnect both the positive and negative leads of the battery and let your car sit for 10 minutes. you ALWAYS do this when working with the dash, otherwise it is possible to deploy your air bags

*lower your steering wheel as low as it goes

*undo the screws in the plastic piece in the area where your gauge cluster is

*pull out hte plastic piece

*a couple of screws are holding in your gauge cluster, unscrew those

*pull out your gauge cluster and unplug the wires in the back

*you have a few options from here. you can simply get stickers from any number of places and carefully place them over your gauges once you remove the plastic. or you could mount "gauge pods" on them or any number of things.

to reassemble your gauge cluster, just do these steps in reverse.
