Waste of money. No matter what you do, you will still have a 12 year old civic 4 door. Let the car do what it was built to do, save you money by getting good gas mileage. You want something fast, buy it later.

the y8 does have 20hp over the y7, but you'll also need to change your ECU because the y8 is a vtec model. a y8 wont have any problems fitting into it, but whats your goal? if you just want a little more HP, put a cold air intake on your y7. you should get about 5-10 more HP out of it and all you have to do is bolt it on. much less of a hassle and several hundred dollars cheaper.

Adding one pint of ground up cat meat and rice to every tankful will gain you 20hp.

Waste of money. The D-Series engines aren't engines to try to get performance out of anyway. I would suggest a B-Series swap, but it may be hard to find one newer than your car. If that's not the way you want to go, some cheap mods for hp gains are a cold air intake, header, and exhaust.
