Default What could be causing transmission fluid leak?

I have a 2000 Honda Accord with roughly 230K mi. For about 8 months I have been dealing with a small leak which began on psg side and other problems such as rough shifting when I take off and really bad smoking after long drives. Its trans fluid thats leaking onto hot surface causing smoke. I add fluid as needed. The amt leaking has grown some since I noticed but not that much. During winter months I'd warm car up before driving to avoid hard shifting when taking off and driving for a little while. I dont think anything is wrong with trans bc color of fluid leak is same as new, no tinting. Only shifts hard when switching into first (car jerks). What are the symptoms of a bad differential? Could this be my problem?

leaks can be axle seals/case half the case splits in half (case gasket bad) rear cover gasket bad .front seal. cooler line leak.if differential bad would hear noise's or grinding when in gear. if bearings are bad would also get axle seal leak because of a lot of play and fluid will come out of the axle seal the rough shifts are from the trans fluid more than likely you are not using honda approved fluid when you don't use the honda fluid it will give you harsh shifts. the smoke you see is the fluid getting on the exhaust
