Default Honda civic vs Camaro SS?

My Brother has a honda civic 92 with intake and exhaust,















and he wants to race a 02 camaro ss with headers manifold y pipe catless exhaust and intake.















Atleast they say it has that.















Can he beat it?















Or wat mods would he need to beat it.

The camaro would win, no doubt about it. To be honest the camaro would win if it didn't have that stuff in it. You would need a different car to beat it. Almost all ss has the v8 in it. There were some models that came with a vet engine in it to. So you would really need to find out more on the car before you race it.

all of that stuff will only enhance the engines by a few horses.















i doubt a honda is going to beat that camaro. he better get some nitrous.

No, he could not beat the Camaro if it was stock, those cars are not even in the same league.

remove anything honda related that's in the vehicle and replace it with something worth while.

A turbocharged, B series swapped civic couldn't beat a stock 02 Camaro SS, so a stock (for all intents and purposes) 92 civic doesn't stand a chance. A 92 civic doesn't even stand a chance against an escort GT or cavalier Z24. Or a V6 camaro. Nitrous wouldn't help. It would take a $4000 engine swap and a $4000 turbo kit with about $5000 in chassis and suspension work to keep up with a $10,000 stock Camaro. Smart idea.
