I just bought a 2008 honda civic si 4d sedan what filter should i use and do i void the factory warranty if i use one?

what kind of filter are u talking about? air filter, oil filter, cabin filter, fuel filter?

Filter for what? Air, oil, gas, cabin air, what?

If your talking about air filter....go K&N....there pricey but well worth it...you will never have to replace it as long as you own the car, just clean it every now and then...

For oil filter use #1 Wix,#2 Hastings.Air filter #1 K&N, #2 Fram is so so.

Keep your standard air filter !! There's nothing wrong with it ! Honda wouldn't spend millions in research and then stick an air filter on the engine which isn't any good. A K&N will just give you more noise, and next to NO power gains. Sometimes K&Ns even reduce power at certain rev ranges

K&N make extremely good filters they have a 1 million mile waranty and they r washable so u dont have to replace them in the future

Use any brand you want, although some are better than others.

It won't void the warranty.

Honda only recommends changing the oil filter every other oil change but most people change it with every oil change.
