Default (10 points best answer)i have a few issues with my 1990 honda crx that i just purchased?

ok first of plz excuse my ignorance and dumbness but i really dont know much about cars period

so my questions are

1.dose a 1990 crx have a clutch fluid resviour?

2.ilooked under te hood today and i saw the timing belt exposed now i do know a lot of cars timing belt/chains are covered or in the motor so is this normal?i will post a pic of what im talking about

3.i was told when i brought the car it had new rotors and brakes but that i needed to get a new master brake cyleinder.i have been driving the car for about 3 days now and brake fluid is still the same(full of fluid) and its not leaking.so could it still be the brake master cyleinder or could it be something else.brak pedel dose go to the floor when light foot pressure is applied but i would pump it a few times and i would feel pressure for a short while but it will go back to the floor.

4.my car also came with some skunk2 pro series coil overs and the car is sitting super low so i was wondering if someone can supply a link on how to raise the car back up by an inch or two so the tires dont rub a lot.

5.when i move the shift stick from side to side when its in neutral i hear a noise like something a bed with rusty springs will make when your bounceing on it.sounds like something needs to be greased up idk.

there is a few more questions but ill try and google them up to save yall the headace of reading.

thanks for all he postive answers if yall need me to explain any one of my problems a lil more i would

and if you can answer anyone of them it would be very help full

fyi i just finished reading on a few crx forums that alot of crx owners remove there timing belt cover because with it on it dries your timing belt much faster and its not a peice of sh!t its a preaty slick daily comuter

1.) No, because it is cable driven. 2.) You probably arent seeing the timing belt, and if you are it is definitely not normal. 3.) Your master cylinder is bad for sure. 4 and 5 I couldn't tell you. Sounds like you bought a real POS.

1. Depends, I'm not too familiar with the CRX but if the first answers is correct then as he said you have cables, only a hydraulic operated clutch will have a reservoir.

2. No it's not normal from factory, the timing belts are covered by a plastic covering held on by a couple bolts.

3. It's possible the brake cylinder is bad but before going out and buying one I'd bleed the brake fluid and make sure there isn't any air in it.

4.You will either have to buy a different aftermarket suspension that has a lesser drop or revert back to the stock suspension pieces. You can order the stock suspension from an auto parts store or possibly the dealership. A third option is to find them at a junkyard.

5. Could possibly be something in the shift linkage does need some grease, the shifter bushings are probably going out on you as well. The stock bushings were never that great and didn't last long but Energy Suspension carries some nice bushings that make the shifts feel a lot better.

Is it just coming from the shifter or do you hear this when pushing the clutch in?
