Default del sol with GSR swap BARD Question?

I'm planning to buy the 1994 del sol, but it said the engine is BARD for the GSR engine. Would anybody help to explain what that meant? Also it has

Performance and suspension.

Chipped ECU (VTEC kicks strong and loud)

Custom Intake

Greddy Headers (Pretty unique and expensive)

Stage 1 Clutch

Aftermarket Radiator

Exhaust system with normal looking muffler

Front Strut Bar

Rear Strut Bar

Short Shifter

GSR front break conversion.

LS mesh wheels with newer tires.

Is in great condition

Stereo with speakers

NETAMI carbon fiber look bucket seat can be reclined and slided.

Full Alarm with remotes, trunk release.

All electrical, mirrors, windows, cruise control.

No A/C

MOMO Shifter and MOMO big E-brake conversion

Targa Top great for summer time.

Do you think this 1994 honda del sol worth $3200? Please hep me. Thanks

It's a California thing. Their emissions are a different world from the rest of the U.S. I'm from NC, so I could easily be wrong about this ... but I think if your motor is bard then its a legal swap and you won't have any issues from the DMV or police or emission folks. I'm not sure why they're so anal over there, but apparently they want you to keep the original motor that came in your car.

That Del Sol may sound good, but don't ever expect it to run in the low 13's without forking out between $3,000 - $5,000 more. Of course once you pay that much it might be feasible to hit the high, high 12's.

Doesn't sound bad for the price though. That kind of motor swap is probably worth $2000 by itself not to mention the other parts he's installed.

Bar'd means it has a sticker from California Bureau of Automotive Repair, stating the new engine that is in the car.

so in a del sol with a gs-r swap, it would be smogged as a integra gs-r would be (meeting the same emissions standards as a gs-r),

sticker looks like this:
