Default Honda Clarity question.?

If the Clarity runs of hydrogen, if I just poured water into it would it run? I doubt it but there is always the possibility.

IT DOESN'T RUN ON HYDROGEN! IT'S A GAS ELECTRIC HYBRID...NOT HIGHLY REGARDED BY MOTOR TREND.

Hi Tony,

The FCX Clarity uses a hydrogen fuel cell, along with supplemental Lithium Ion batteries. When the fuel cell gets low on fuel (yes, hydrogen) you need to refill it with hydrogen. The car doesn't create the hydrogen, it just uses it.

You can either buy the hydrogen at a specialized filling station or buy Honda's Home Energy Station. Water is not an acceptable form of fuel for this car.
