Look directly under your hood. It should say there or somewhere in your engine bay.

look for the engine code should be stamped on the block where it meets up with the transmission it will either say d15__ , d16__, or will say b16__

now the d15 and the d16 will be sohc

where the b16 will be a dohc

but there is a really rare case if ur car came from australia u may have a d16 dohc but highly unlikely

heres a pic to show where the stamp is located

hope this helps

It is more than likely a 1.6 as 1.5 are uncommon if not entirely inexistent in hondas range......what model is it? civic? jazz?

put the number plate into a insurance quote website, or a free valuation site, that will tell you the engine size,

or just check the VIN plate, located on the left bottom windcreen area (US), or the back of the engine bay (EU), it will say 'engine code' then D15? If its a 1.5, or d16??, or b16a1/2 if its a 1.6.

otherwise take it to a honda dealer. your insurance note and log book should all have engine size, not to mention tax disc

Bty the engine code, the vin number, and if it is the original engine there will be a sticker on the underside of the hood. Or the Moroney sticker, the new car sticker with all the dealer and factory options.
