Default Turn Signal fluid Change in 01 Civic?

I've been told I am overdue to change the Turn signal fluid in my 01 Civic, suppose to be done every 25K, I am at 110K and have never changed it. Do I have to go to the dealer for this or can I change the fluid myself and if so I need instructions on what to use and where to find it on my vehicle.

It's a joke. Turn signals are light bulbs or LEDs. There might be some kind of fluid in the flasher relay, but you don't ever change it.

Next time the check comes, tell your joker friend you spent all your cash on turn signal fluid and he has to pay.

I do recommend taking your car into the Honda dealer. They are good about proactive maintenance. They will tell you what needs changing (for example, timing belt after 100K).

That is pretty funny but if you need to find some right away here is the cheapest place to get it.

Make sure to change your vtec fluid, and upgrade to cross drilled/slotted brake lines while you're at it.

On a side note, blinker fluid could be considered a battery, too. Think about it...
