Default how hard is it to do a transmission swap on a d16y8 in a 97 civic?

i want to go from an auto to a manual. dont really want to buy a manual cause i love my car just a few things i want to change about it. maybe a b16 down the road. does anyone know how much it would roughly cost and how hard it would be. im pretty good with cars but never messed with transmissions, always been intimidated but the honda swap i would think would be pretty easy.

More work than it's worth. If you want a stickshift Honda, sell the one you got and use the money to get the one you want.
