Default What is the HP on a 96 Civic si? (Just bought it)?

Hey i was wondering on how much a 96 civic si would have with these mods:

Full exhaust, dc sports headers, magnaflow cat back exhuast. Full intake, AEM short ram air intake with k&n cone filter, skunk2 intake manifold.

The car also has Fully adjustable coilovers Skunk2 lower control arms. Sway bars on top and bottom for suspension.

I was wondering what you guys thin of the car? How much HP/Torque would you estimate on it? You think its a good 2nd car? What else could i do to the car for hp and handling? (im 17, Bought with my own money.)

Yes, i am from canada

How much HP with the mods? And what else can i do keeping it n/a?

I would think around 170 to the wheels. No real engine work usually means no real power. Doesn't mean it isn't relatively fast or "feels fast". Probably 0-60 in around 7-7.5 seconds.

The skunk2 stuff is quality...Short ram is murder on any car...magnaflow is good.

I won't comment on what happens when you add exhaust to an n/a car. have 1 header. And I hope you swapped for a high flow cat otherwise the exhaust replacement was meaningless.

hmmm thats kinda funny. considering if you live in the us, theres no way you have a 96 si....they dont exist. the ej si was only produced from 99-00. so what you have is something else.....not an si.

dont believe the net.

This is a Simple Question,

For the UNITED STATES their Si (EM1) is only from 1999-2000.

I'm assuming your from CANADA, why? because they had a 1996 Honda Civic Si there, its the Equivalent of a US Honda Civic Ex,

so a Canadian Civic Si (96-00) would be 127hp same as the US Civic Ex(96-00), with the D16Y8.

If i'm correct your VIN 3rd 4th and 5th numbers will be EJ8.

Well I can't give you an accurate HP with all those mods. The Canadian Honda Civic Si had a D16Y8 engine which produced 127HP stock. (by the way good list of mods there).

On a pure guesstimate I'd say 140HP. I'd have it dyno'ed to get a true answer though.
