It's not that simple to replace. You need to almost disassemble the dash to get to the heater box, remove the whole box from the car and open it up just to access the heater core. If you have A/C this often requires you to remove the hoses are the AC system. This requires you to Evac the A/C system as releasing the R134A gas in to the air is not safe. If you do not have A/C you can do the job yourself. If you have A/C, please take it to the dealer or any auto shop with the proper equipment to do the job.

Before going to the extreme of replacing the heater core you should verify it is the cause of the heater not working. By far the most common heater core failure is leaking and that shows up as loss of coolant and fogging of the windows long before it causes the heater not to work. You don't mention any of the signs of leaking, so a simple flow test with a garden hose would be a smart thing to do before tearing the dash apart.

More common causes of heater failure are jamming of the heater control valve and low coolant. The heater control valve is located low on the engine side of the firewall on one of the two hoses that go to the heater core. You can recognize it by the cable that goes to a lever on the top. That lever should move when the heat control is turned. With age the lever gets so stiff the cable can't move it. You can try lubricating it - I did - but replacement is really the only solution.
