Default how do you change a speed sensor on a 99 honda odyssey?

the check engine light came on and my husband decided that it was the speed sensor but he broke the new one when he put it on..

Default

your husband did not have the vehicle speed sensor gear fully engaged when he tightened the retaining bolt down. thats why the sensor broke. the sensor should be rotated until it drops in like the old distributors with the drive gears on the distributor shaft. when the gears on the sensor shaft engage the drive inside the transmission the speed sensor will drop down into place.

hope that helps
