Yes, your car is fuel injected. Honda Civics have not been carborated since 1990 when the D-series engines drastically changed when MPFI or Multi Port Fuel Injection became standard and carburation was no longer in Honda production.

you need to be careful in the terms you are using. Here's why.

All 2003 Civics have fuel injection. They have an electronically controlled multi-port fuel injection system that has the fuel injector on the intake runner above the intake valve in the cylinder head. The operating pressure of the Honda system on that car is about 45 PSI.

The term "Direct Fuel Injection" is a different animal entirely. That is a 'green' technology that is more similar to a diesel injection system. The operating pressure in a direct injection system is closer to 30,000 PSI. This results in a fuel burst that is instantly atomized through the difference in pressure between the fuel injector and the intake air. The result is a cleaner burning fuel charge with lower emissions. As of now, only the German manufacturers are using the direct fuel injection systems on production automobiles. Honda does not currently have a direct fuel injection vehicle.
