Default '88 Civic sedan Radiator help?

My radiator has a little crack in it. its right by the cap when there is a bolt. It shoots out antifreeze so i have to refill my anti freeze every 2 days. Should i just patch it, or buy a new radiator? I used this bar's leak stuff but the crack is in plastic not metal so it didnt work. A new radiator is $130 at AutoZone. Would it be better to just buy a new one or to try and patch it? How hard would it be to replace it by myself? I dont know much about cars but i got the basics.

Id recommend a dealership, I don't see how you'r going to be able to patch that part of the radiator.

You should be able to get a replacement top tank

The plastic tank is a non repair item due to heat involved

If you have had Bars Leaks in it you are in trouble as that product reacts badly with Ethylene Glycol so the whole system will need flushing

88, they should have lots of parts for that car in junk yards, dont spend too much money, be smart and save. call around where you live and find out where the junk yard are your place.
