Red face Tire and Rim size

Hi everyone I'm new on this website. Ihave honda accord with 205/R60-16 rims and tires. Can I replace the tires only with 225/R60-16 to put into my 205 size rim? What are the disadvantages on this. I understand it's going stick out almost .40" on both side of the 205mm rim. Is this possible. Any thought is greatly appreciated.
