Default best mod for my 97 civic ex?

i have a stock d16y8 with no mods, other than new cylinder heads, head gaskets, and a cold air intake. my cars been lowered, 17" rims, camber kit, but now im lookin to upgrade performance. i was looking at an engine swap possibly, but i only have about 5grand. so idk fersure if i do a swap id probably go for a k20 but again not much cash for tranny and everything else id need to change, then i wouldnt have much for other mods. so what should i do?

SWAP. do a gsr swap 'b18c1' ...for a full swap it can cost you $1,200. And then use the rest of your money on pistons, rods, cam and a turbo and getting it tuned. If your gonna do a 'k' swap itll cost you well over $5k. Then you wont be able to afford to do anything else.

gsr turbo

or turbo your single cam vtec and build it

plus get rid of your 17in rims

they are heavy and put more weight to your car

get 15 or 16 lightweight rims like rotas.5igen,drags,spoon

you willl accelerate faster
