Depends on the submodels, year, and your location. In general though a 4 door honda civic should be cheaper. Its starts getting more expensive for young people when you start going into the sport packages ( Civic Ex or Civic Si).

as far as i know civic car insurance is usually cheaper....

but one thing when u go with cheap car insurance they wont cover all the departments which would be a problem after a hit....

so better check the company which cover all the departments and even provides good service....

The Civic will be definately cheaper. The Civic is considered a economy car, the Charger is a sports car. The Charger's insurance will be the highest. And you will be getting charged the max either way because of your age group. The only way to save besides discounts is getting a cheaper car to insure, i.e. the Civic.

good student, for good grades.

Multi car discount.

Defensive driver courses.

Being 25 or older, the age when insurance claims statistically drop for driving experience.

Being married, and or being married with kids. Statistically risk drops again.
