Default I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe. Is the 5-sp. shift knob removable?

I have tried to twist off the knob to put on a little nicer one, but I just could not do it. Do I need to try harder or is it glued on or something?

they are kinda hard to get off, i dont think their glued, just where they been there so long and being snugged.

grab a dry towel and try it

righty tighty

shouldnt be hard to remove

Just twist it to the left if that does'nt work add some spray to loosen the part and maybe it will come out
