Default will upgrades wheels fit on a stock car?

say I want to upgrade my wheels (rims) on my civic. It has 4 bolts that resemble a square. Am I going to need new parts (whatever it is that the wheel goes on) if I want to get new wheels?

an example of the type of wheels i'm looking at are Enkei Performance GW8 Black Painted 17"

I can't give you a link because it is a long link.

can I just upgrade the wheel and nothing else or am I going to need more parts than just the wheel?

Those aren't upgrades.

They're larger, but you're not improving anything. Just changing the size. That's like changing your socks, and calling it an upgrade.

And as long as the backspacing/offset is correct, and you keep the tire size to be one to match your original wheel dimensions, you shouldn't encounter any problems.

you could just copy and paste the link, doesn't matter how long it is.....

anyway depending on civic you stud fitment should be 4x100 offset, just make sure the wheels are that too, otherwise there is no reason why they wouldn't fit, you dont need modification to change a wheel....if you are unsure wether they will fit call the company you are buying of and ask them, 4x100 is the most common 4 stud fitment so ill be surprised if they don't.

your wheels may rub on the inside of the front bumper with full steering lock on with the 17'' because of the increased width, and i would recommend getting you tracking and alighment ajusted afterwards, but otherwise its strait forward.

Yes you can put 17 inch rims. Just check the right offset of rims for your car to avoid rubbing. You will not need more parts. Hope this helps!
