Default Honda civic lx 2000 over heating problems?

my car over heats fan thermosta work and it over heats when im stopped but it goes down when i go but it take awhile for it to have this problem im concern it mite be the timing cause my rpm in way below the rpm please help me

Check the fan and make sure you filled the radiator and the radiator overfill with water.

Check the following;















1. your fan might be malfunctioning















2. your belt could be loose















3. low level of water in the radiator or low coolant level















4. radiator could be clog.
