Default Why does my car operate normally when Relay is removed?

I had a couple power draws while the car is off coming from 2 fuses. Instead of pulling the 2 fuses every time i leave the car i pulled the lighting relay. I also had a dome light prob where the light stayed on when doors were shut. Now there is no draw and everything works perfectly. Can i drive the vehicle without the relay? I own a 1995 Honda Accord Ex 2.2 liter 4door 4 cyl V-Tech

yes you can drive without it until you get a new relay for it,i got a nissan that the relay went bad on it and i took it out,as long as it doesn't affect the running part of it ,you should be alright with it,make sure you got tail lights though ,sometimes that relay will knock the tail lights or the dash lights out, good luck.
