Default Blown Motor in Del Sol SI?

What are the symptoms of a blown motor in a del sol SI. My check engine light came on, the engine was low on oil smelt like something burning. Like the oil was dripping on the exhaust, but after putting more oil in it, it sounded like it normally did no real difference.

Yeah I figured if it was blown it would at least make aknocking noise like if one of the pistons gotmessed up in that case i would just need a new head on the engine which i found some for like 200 and i got a mechanic that could do a quick swap for cheap just I'm borke right now i bought the car in cash got a new windshield new tires and just did the oil change which the guy before used royal purple oil which is crazy expensive. I set a board under my car to check for leaking oil in the morning and double check the oil filter, oil pan plug and the oil pan gasket see what i find

Well if it still runs then the engine is probably not blown. If you ran it out of oil that most likely set the check engine light. You should get it looked at to be sure. Check the coolant level while your at it. Make sure to keep those fluids in the engine in the future or it will blow up

Blown motor does not run or runs with heavy knocking noise, shooting motor oil out of vent tube or intake, heavy smoke. If none of those, then it is OK,just have it check for oil leaks.
