2009 civic, electrical outlet?
Hi, I have a 2009 honda civic and am wondering what to use with the electrical outlet in order to plug things into it. I have a 12 volt piece but when I plug anything into it, it doesn't do anything. I tried my cell phone charger and it wouldn't charge my phone. Im not sure if it isn't working correctly or if I have the wrong piece. Thanks for any help.

If its an '09 it should have some kinda warranty I would take it to the dealership it probably does cost much to fix, and check the fuses one might be blown

You will need to make sure your key is in the I or II(on) position. Without turning the key to one of these positions the socket will not have power.
If this doesn't work then move on to the fuse.
