I was driving home last night from a place which was about one hour... at 90 miles and hour and i realized my engine was heating up to the max... i had to stop and let it cool b4 i could go again.... is there a reason for this? is it out of any kind of fluid? or is it just cause i was driving too fast at constant speed.

Usually when your engine overheats going down the road, it is because either the coolant isn't circulating due to a bad water pump, the radiator is plugged, or the coolant level is low.































If you overheated it too badly, you may have damaged the engine. But find the cause for the overheating and correct that first.































90 is really pushing a 16 year old car.

check your coolant level... pop the cap off the radiator and see if it's full.
