I have a Honda accord and the head lights got scratched from the car wash, how can I take the scratched out ??? help

Meguiars makes a headlight polish kit. Use that or PlastX and a polisher. Takes about 10 minutes to do a quick and dirty, or about an hour to do a really good job of it. Tape off the area around the lights or take them out of the car, apply the polish and go to town. Will take out anything but the deepest scratches.































If you have REALLY deep scratches, go to a paint store and get some 2000 and 3000 grit sandpaper, take the headlights out (do NOT do this while they're in the car) and very gently wetsand them first with the 2000 then with the 3000. Then use the PlastX or the headlight polish kit. You'll be good to go in about an hour.

Would use a headlight restoration kit. You can either do like the person above me said (a buffer pad attached to a drill and PlastX, the Meguiar's headlight kit is a small bottle of PlastX and a buffer pad, so don't spend more money just for the packaging - unless you need the buffing pad).































There's also kits that are meant just to get rid of yellowing and hazing, but are sandpaper pads soaked in a chemical, so essentially should work for minor scratches. You wet the pad, attach to a drill, follow the instructions. Like $10. You could also buy the sandpaper separately, as above person mentioned, but depends on what you're dealing with.
