OK, this is crazy! My dad owns a 2005 Honda Civic LX with only 15000 miles! He complained to me that his car wasn't pulling at all and that something is wrong with his clutch. I drove the car yesterday and indeed, it was true, at 15,000 miles, the clutch releases way up top, pedal squiks, and the car is barely moving. The car shifts great, but just doesnt go anywhere or barely moves. Can anything else, but the clutch assembly be the problem? I know these cars have a hydraulic clutch and its not adjustable. Can anyone please help me! I already called the dealership and they are saying a 800-1000 bucks and they are really not wondering that the clutch has gone with 15k. Oh yeah, My dad doesnt drive it much, he's had it for 4 years and only 15k miles- maybe thats the problem..Any help would be appreciated.
