Hello, I have a 2003 Honda Accord V6 EX-L and the back light has went out on the radio. I know it happens alot in my model. Honda will not replace because I'm over the extended warranty time. I know I need a resistor. And I found a place for them to put it in for me. Just wondering if it was different sizes, what size or watt resistor do I need? And do you know where I can buy it from?

the problem is with a printed circuit board. You can buy a remanufactured printed circuit board from any honda dealer. the part number varies on whether the car has navigation or not and by model of the radio.































the printed circuit board will have all of the resistors on it. without it, you would have to use a radio shop that can diagnose and replace the resistors individually. my guess is you'll spend more doing that then having a printed circuit board changed by a radio shop.































these PC boards are exchange units and you'll need to return the old one to the Honda dealer for credit after it is replaced.
