what can happen if ive been putting

10 w 30 oil in this the last 6mos?

10 w 30 is perfectly fine. make sure you add it to engine only and you'll be fine.

nothing at all can run pretty much any weight you want with no damage i run 10w40 all year long

It is getting colder though, so depending on where you live it's not a bad idea to switch to 5w30 for those cold start ups.

10w-30 is fine and actually preferred because of its VI viscosity index. unless you live in sub-zero climates, you can run 10w-30 year round
