ok i juss got my license and im buying a 94 honda accord lx with sunroof, for $850 with NO mechanical problems. is that a good/reliable car to have for a 1st car? is that a good price if it has NO mechanical problems? thanks for everything .

the 94-97 are 5th generation accords and some say the best ever made..... i have a 95 with 342,000 miles. just make sure timing belt is changed every 90K to 100K miles...breaking a timing belt on a honda will ruin it since they are interference engines.......pistons will hit valves....so you cannot skip the timing belt maintenance on it.

I agree with "joel95ex".I also have a high mileage "GEN 5" accord.A 96' LX Sedan.It starts every single time.Won't leave you stranded.For the Money you paid,I'd say congratulations.A good intro price for a 15 yr old car.If you take care of it, you'll have a Friend for life.Drive safe.
