You need to set reset the clock, the radio is likely coded, the code is in your owners manual as are the directions for resetting the code. If you lost the owners manual, take your proof of car ownership and visit your Honda dealer.

i don't know that much about car radio and clock power supplies

but only thing i can think of without seeing it is that the battery is too powerful for them like when you put too much power into some appliances they don't turn on. if its the exact same type of battery you usually put in there then never mind

The radio has a code that you must enter,it is in the owners manual,if you do not have this go to a honda dealer and they can help you.You cannot set the clock because you need the radio controls to do this. This radio code was done as a anti-thief thing

Yep, you have to re-enter the radio code, then you can reset the clock. It usually comes on a little card, or you can call your Honda dealer if you don't have it.

1999 Honda Accord, the clock has seperate minute and hour buttons. The radio only needed me to hold the buttons until a click noise signaling it is preset.
