2002 civic idle problems
Im new to this site, hope i can get some help. I have 2002 honda civic. Actually the wifes car, she said it was idling low and even cutting out at the red light. So i thought i had a problem with the idle control valve. Well auto parts place didnt have one, so the parts guy found a used one at the bone yard. Well now the car doesnt cut off but if your sitting in the drive and give it gas the idle doesnt come down to under 100 but it wants to idle very high, like close to 2000. Maybe was a mistake to buy it at the yard ? He did say if it didnt work id get my money back. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks
