Default i have a honda civic 2003 and would like to trade it in for a civic 2008 or 2009.?

im just wondering if this would be a good move, since i know that cars lose value every year. i do want a redesigned car since 2003 is a bit old. mileage is 27000. i just want to know if its best to keep this car as is, or trade in for a newer one and also how much more should i expect to pay, and if honda dealer would be my best bet to go look for used cars. any suggestions?

Don't "trade" your car into the dealer, they will give you crap for what your car is worth. Instead check the car's value at KBB.com and post an ad on craigslist.org or Autotrader.com.

Think of leasing if you do not travel too much. People always change car every 3-4 years.

i just got a 2009 civic ex coupe this summer. its a great car with great mileage, sound system, and looks. the body styling is great and i love the 350 watt sound system w/ subwoofer. the 5 spd AT also makes a huge difference compared to the 4 spd i used to have. not to mention honda is number 1 in resale value so they don't depreciate very quickly (a 2006 civic ex coupe is still 15k from 20k new). bottom line-can't beat a honda, great resale value and gas mileage, not to mention extremely reliable.
