Default 1999 honda accord oil leak of half litre every 200-300 miles?

I have a 1999 honda accord 2L vtec F20B engine with 90000 miles and I seem to have an oil leak on the passanger side of the engine around the sump/cam area underneath...the oil never leaks when the car is parked only when running, and when above idle...when I top up my oil to the F mark on the oil stick within 200-300 miles the oil level is at E or the bottom of the oil stick....The oil never seems to go lower than this mark. When I top up the oil again it only takes 1/2 litre to get back to the F mark again.

Anyone every some across this?

I know its not ideal to run the engine without optimum oil level but will this actually damage the engine running like this?

Thanks

First, check the oil plug and filter first to make sure that they are tight and not cross threaded, if you say that it only leaks when the car is running hints to maybe a cracked hose or a lose bolt because its being forced out, take off the oil pan and check the gasket, chances are that if the plug, filter, and hoses are ok, then its the oil pan gasket.

it is your cam shaft seal

or crank seal

either one but i am almost 100% sure it is the cam shaft seal because it never get lower then the well that means the leak is t the top end the cam shaft seem would leak just that amount
