i have a 2009 honda civic ex coupe with the 5 speed Automatic. i was wondering what kind of engine does it have? i know its an automatic but what can i do for relatively cheap to upgrade performance? and what are my limitations with the i-vtec and the AT? please help. thanks.
i know most tuners don't like AT, but its what i got and its reliable with good mileage and i love it, just need a little more acceleration from a stop or in general. |

you have an R18 engine. You can start with intake and exhaust. There are turbo kits but traditionally honda automatics don't last long with the big power increase. There isn't much else for power however there are lots of suspension parts for that car.
